Well, wave 8 did drop not very long ago and the Store Champs are leading right into Regional play so there has been a lot going on.

This is kind of a weird gap if you take Alex's comments about wave 9 arrival at face value.

"Or maybe next year" would leave a serious gap in their production capacity.

If Alex was just keeping options open because it's his job to NOT tell us anything then maybe we'll see wave 9 in a month or so.

Well, things like Imperial Vets comes out this summer.

Could be that Rebel/Scum Vets cor Scum Huge comes out before Wave 9 as well.

Especially since they are now advertising X-Wing in all of the new Marvel Star Wars comics.

There's news. They haven't spoiled quite a bit of the Imperial Vets pack. I'm hoping they do so soon.

I bet we get news on Scum Epic before Wave 9.

Wave 7 was announced on April 20th last year, almost 2 months after Wave 6 came out. I bet there will be something in the next couple weeks, maybe May the 4th since they seem to like using that as a promotional tool as well now that Worlds for Star Wars games will be around that date every year now.

I definitely feel like this has been the longest gap since I started following that there hasn't been an X-Wing article of note.

It doesn't help that I haven't cared about pretty much anything in the last two waves though.

I'm going to step out on a limb and predict that FFG will be announcing either a new wave or the next epic ship on May 4th.

Well the Roanoke Regionals although it may not have made an Article on the FFG page did stir up quite a controversy, was covered by multiple podcasts, and received an official response from FFG.

I don't know what classifies as "X-wing news" to you, but I would call that X-wing news.
