Quick questions, and I do apologize if I've overlooked something.
Is it correct, that the only way to rescue your captured leaders as the rebellion is through the mission card "Daring Rescue"?
And:
Would it be possible for the Imperial player to capture leaders in the rebel base field, when the base hasn't been revealed?
So far I have treated this as a no, because I have treated the Rebel base as if it wasn't a system. But I think this may be wrong.
Again. I apologize if I've overlooked something.
Rescuing leaders and mission in the rebel base
If there are no Imperial units in a space with a captured leader, that leader is immediately released. There is also the millennium falcon action card. In addition to the two Daring Rescue cards, there is another mission card that frees a leader. Plus I believe the Imperial Homing Beacon card frees a leader. I think that's all of them.

It is a no because its not a system. Also the starting capture card requires Imperial units to be in a system.
Keep in mind also that retreating Imperial forces do not retreat with the captured leader, so if the Imps capture someone and you can force them to retreat, they leave behind any captured leaders.

It's not cowardice. It's Imperial policy to eject garbage before jumping to hyperspace. So long, rebel scum.
I view it as a distraction. Jettison the captive in an escape pod and hope they save him instead of pursuing you.

Well played, Koala; well played.

It is a no because its not a system. Also the starting capture card requires Imperial units to be in a system.
What about teh bounty card, (I forget the proper name for it, Collect Bounty, mebbe?). That one does NOT require Imps be in the system.

The Collect Bounty card has the requirement "any system". The rebel base is not a system.
