Now, this one
http://tinyurl.com/y9hq48b
and the 2nd doc_cthulhu sheet are great.
I think my players will want to play on them, becouse they are bigger and it will be easier for them to write on. There is one more think they look a bit like the old one so why not, they loved the old sheets.
Portait Character Sheet
Argh. The Font with the puzzle pieces isn't working on mac for me. And I just can't find the post where there was a link to fan-made puzzle pieces... I'd like to add them in a default size so that if someone would want to they could lay the real pieces atop of the track on the sheet.
The Red arrow points out that the Stance Advancements is going to be located under the puzzle piece track. The empty box at the the right bottom corner will house the paper doll for character portrait - are there hit locations in WFRP3 meaning do I need to add the boxes for soak in each body part or is it just a simple "one number for all" armor system?

It's one number for all.
If you put the stance track right at the top of the sheet, along the edge, then people will be able to track it exactly how they track fatigue/stress etc.
Okay.
As the upload function on Hammerzeit! isn't ready yet you can upload the finished character sheet from: http://guildredemund.net/laurimaijala/random/WFRP3_charactersheet_portrait_position.pdf I'll move it to Hammerzeit! asap.
I'm calling it "finished" though it really isn't. Any suggestions are still welcome and I'm quite certain it'll go through some changes when I get my hands on the game itself and have some experience with the game.
doc - did you get that other mac font I made to work? The one without the stance pieces?
If so let me know, I'll remake another one specifically for you with the stance pieces in that SHOULD* work on macs
(I don't have one so can't verify)
EDIT - just downloaded your character sheet, seems you already figured something out... hehe
EDIT #2 - Am going through your character sheet, there are a couple spelling errors.
On page 2 on the right hand side where you have Fatigue - you have Fatrigue there, so the R needs to go. Also I'm not sure if it's meant to be there or not, but there appears to be an underscore between 13 and 14 in that same box.

Check. I'll make those changes but will not upload a corrected one until Hammerzeit! lets me (I'm lazy in that way).
Your new font didn't work at all at mac. Even the basic lettering was missing so I had to improvise.
Hammerzeit's upload are working so my character sheet has been moved THERE .
I really like your sheet and will try it out with my players....
One suggestion:
One sheet 2 you have wasted space where you have "quotes", "Deeds", and "notes"
One of them is better served as a place to List Talents & Action cards. I find this useful so during the game set up, I can ask each player the cards they have and I can then pass them out? We share one game box at this time
Thanks again for the great work!
I might put this on a metal clip board and use small magnets to track stuff. That's a really nice sheet Doc - thanks a bunch!
Looks MEATY
My players will definitely use this one (none of them liked the original core box sheet).
You saved me a lot of time, thanks Doc.
@NezziR
Yeah, magnets+metal plate are the thing, I need to buy some (for cards too) in case any of my players wanted to be more comfortably seated in soft armchair.
Excellent work Physician to the Old Ones.

Anybody tried to print it yet?

I printed it just now, double sided, looks great.
Do the numbers actually line up while printing double-sided?
Because that would be awesome!
I didn't even consider magnets but now that you mention it, it sounds like a good idea. What I had in mind (and why I didn't consider putting the wounds in several rows) was using paperclips as track marks as in Deadlands. It's so simple and easy way that I've used it ever since I tried it.
According to Maelstrom Games my order of the WFRP3 box was completed so when I really get it I might make some changes and will certainly add the box for Talent & Action cards. I did have it in mind while making this but the second page was done in a hurry...
But I'm glad that so many of you guys seems to like it! Would have been a bummer if nobody did. ^_

I didn't even think of paper clips. That's a great idea. Better than the magnet idea, because you can flip the page over.
The numbers don't line up exactly, but it's so close it doesn't matter. They are 1/16 to 1/8" off. If you used small paper clips it would mark to the same number front and back.
If you shifted the numbers on the back/right up about 1/8" and the numbers on the back/left up a 1/16" it should be close enough for government work. The bottom numbers are fine.
The only problem I had with it is the bottom of the banners on the left and right outside was cut off. It didn't cut the numbers off, just the box they are in. It's pretty insignificant and really doesn't matter. It's probably my printer anyway.
Again, **** nice job. Thank you.
Make the sheet Form Fillable and you'll be my new best friend

Yeah. It's coming. After I get around making those finishing touches. Form Fillabling (weird wording) is such a dull job that I just won't do but only once.
Personally I'm not a big fan off all the numbers around the character sheet, but still, good work! I wish there were even more people making custom character sheets. I really liked ShadowSpawns character sheet since it was more of an evolution of the origional character sheet, and not a revamp. A more visually pleasing version of ShadowSpawns character sheet would be wonderful!
Yay! Head filled with bugger and feeling quite annoyed for everything I managed to correct the few existing errors in my character sheet. I also build the form-fillable version of it though I doubt it works perfectly... I've spent so much time on this sucker that I doubt that I'll ever use it myself as only seeing it makes me sometimes to want to rip my own head off!
The character sheet can be downloaded from
Hammerzeit!
- the best place for all your fan-made WFRP3 needs.
Back to basics.
I'm currently in process of making several adventure cameos, a small hamlet for Empire, an NPC generator, a blasphemous cult (about Malal) and re-doing the character sheet. As the other projects require much more writing I plan to finish the sheet first.
As before - here are the current stats of both sides. If someone would like to help me with the (like making them more pleasing for the eye) just contact me at doc_cthulhu at hotmail dot com.
The pics are too big for proper viewing. Just right-click on them and choose "open image in new window". The previous sheet can be seen/downloaded from my signature.
I plan to finish this sheet during this weekend (at least during next week). Has anybody used this so I could have some comments and make it better?
My players complained about the length of the writing lines - they seem to bee too short for writing effects and such. Should the sheet include a thrid page for actions with a lot more room for writing or what?
You might want to update those links. They are dead when I click on them. Other than that, keep up the good work with the career sheets!
Yeah this is quite an old thread. Check the latest posts on page 3 or the old version on my signature (yes - the cursed Athletics as Agility is still there...)
