A couple tips for useful marker usage

By Lafi, in Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game

Nothing that special here, just a couple things we have noticed that are useful with the suplied markers which are not mentioned anywhere (to my knowledge):

- Every time Greatswords get an extra power add a resource token on it (and remove after the turn ends). This is useful with Shrine to Taal also if you move that unit around.

- If contested fortress cancels a damage outside of battlefield phase (doom divers or such cards) place a damage token on it (and remove after the turn end)

- Use with caution: if a zone takes a lot of damage and is close to burning (1-2 damage) instead of placing damage tokens there use burned zone marker and place as many damage tokens on it as many damage it would take to burn (these are the remaining hp there). This could cause some confusion because every time you heal damage or add a development to the zone you actually add a damage token there so that's why I wrote that use with caution :) .

Ofcourse one could live without these, but for me atleast it makes it easier so I don't have to remember that many things and to see the full situation better with one glance. Has anyone else any similar practices?

The WOW miniatures game came with some little +1 symbols. They work great when playing boosting cards such as Choppa and the Greatswords you mentioned. At one time you could even print them (in color) from their website.

I'm thinking about using d10s or d20s to keep track of how much total power I have in my kingdom/quest zones.
