How many appearances as special guest do you need to become a co-host?

How many appearances as special guest do you need to become a co-host?

LOL! That is a fair point. We may need to tag Paul with that at some point. :)

So you've shortened the flight deck by 30 minutes and yet the overall podcast is still 3.5 hours.

Mind = blown.

LOL, yeah, it would have been a 2.5 hour show, but we thought the would liek to hear from Ryan. Moving forward shows should be between 2 and 2.5 hours.

It is also worth pointing out, for those who wont even listen to the show before the hate mail starts.

We are not ignoring ID's we recorded this show last week before the event took place.

This is a completely unnecessary post for anyone who listens to the show, and yet I felt the need to post it...

This show has a double header for the main topic as we had already scheduled the Ghost and Phantom talk but also wanted to take advantage to having Ryan on the show, In future whilst we may have multiple segments there should only be one main topic.

Honestly, at this point Kris, I think everyone is a bit done with the ID talk anyways. In fact, this might be the only podcast I listen to of this batch since I really don't care to hear a single word directed towards the ID discussion anymore haha.

I'll be honest, what keeps me away from most of the podcasts is the time. I wish there were more at an easily "digestible" 1-1.5 hours.

This is coming to our show. My goal is to get us into the 2 hour mark. It'll be nice to go to bed before 1am...lol

This Wookie agrees with that Wookie.

A.) I would be 100% okay if every podcast ignored the ID issue.

B.) I may have said this before, but Paul Heaver is to NSR as Steve Martin is to SNL.

Looking forward to your Flemming interview. I watched his last three games online. Super exciting!

We did choose to cover it on Stay On Target this week, but we tried to keep it short enough just to encourage everyone to move on and drop it ;)

Kris, I'm glad you came down to the country of Montana, it was nice to meet you! (I was the guy with the E-webs)

My Hero, earned me second place!

How did the X-Wing go on Sunday?

Glad I could help! I hope the drive back went well.

It was a lot of fun. I think there was 18 people total, and 13-14 of them were from Bozeman. Pretty crowded though, Helena has a small game store. We were on 6'x4' Warhammer tables, with two mats per table.

I went undefeated in swiss (although one win was modified) but lost to Andrew in the top 4. Then he lost to another guy that rode down with us. The guy that won was also the one that I had a modified win against.

I like how long the pod cast is. If it were like other podcasts that only talk about the social aspect of X-wing, (three pod casts in a row about flying casual) then I wouldn't listen. As long as you are talking tactics, ways to improve players skills, and good interviews, then I will listen all day long. You have a great cast that are very insightful.

I have been thinking alot about Deadeye over the last few weeks, and Ryan said it perfrctly. It gives the otherwise telegraphed munitions a real element of surprise and flexibility. I think the Rebels have a real chance to take back the spotlight through their vast options, munitions being a key one.

Cool... another good long podcast to listen to while doing repetitious tasks at work! Sure, people give you grief about the 4 hour mark, but as you are the only one that I currently listen to at that length, I'm ok with it. Staying up until 1 am is your fault. With pretty much every audio editing solution out there, you can record days, weeks or years apart and put it into one final show. I'm actually kind of surprised that you do long casts instead of several shorter ones. I guess it helps to block the time out and dealing with spousal faction...

So this episode was recorded the Thursday before Roanoke, and hence has 0 ID issue discussion in it.

We will of course touch on it next show, although I am not sure how deep we will go as by the time re record the show, it will have been pretty much played out.

I'll skip this one then... because next week I want to hear the story of the Bombers and the Wolfpack. :)

People have had their, frankly insane, response to an event.

No one likes the rule, it's there to be used by all. You guys already said as much in this current 'cast. I don't really see any point in spending much more time on it.

X Wing is about pew pew and space ship noises. I would like nerd rage kept all away from that.

I actually really agree with this line of thinking.
