There is an Objective card with "when destroying an enemy Stronghold, receive dragon rune"
The question has raised in our players group: "When/How can a enemy Stronghold be destroyed?"
Rulebook p21
Destroy/Conquer Stronghold: If the attacker won the battle against a stronghold, he removes the opponent’s stronghold token. He may then replace it with one of his own stronghold tokens ...
So this rule gives two options to the attacker:
1. He takes over the Stronghold by placing one of his own Stronghold tokens
2. He destroys the enemy stronghold (the stronghold token is removed and not replaced by one of his own). All that is left after combat on the hex are units of the attacker
First of all I want to check if this conclusion is correct
Secondly we would like to know if there are other way's to Destroy a enemy Stronghold
