The reason for the entry with meal is that hotels do not allow food and drink to be brought into the meeting room unless it is bought for the meeting, so if you want to not have to eat outside this is the only option. This does not prevent you from buying food elsewhere and bringing it into the restaurant area, but it can not be brought into the meeting room where the event will be played.
The food link will be taken down by May 21st due to submission requirements.
We are looking at 5 rounds in one day to handle the currently planned number. The current tournament rules are version 1.03.
The event will be at the Courtyard Marriott (10701 South Holiday Park Drive Sandy, UT 84070). The phone number is 801-571-3600. I have arranged for a discount on rooms for folks from out of town or who want to stay at the hotel, $99 per night plus tax. In order to get the discount you must call the hotel and ask for the D Games rate for the nights of the 27th and the 28th. The reservation must be made by Monday May 16th or the rate is no longer guaranteed.
