The real fix this game needs...

Round tables.

So, I went to the CAC in South Bend. And instead of the normal table set up, we all had one round table to each game. Let me tell you, that is the way to fly. Being able to walk around the board makes movement much, much easier.

I understand the space issues involved, but man, it will be tough to go back to standard tables.

Was the play surface circular or just the table?

Diameter equal to 3 times root2.

were the tables Intentionally Drawn that way or was it just an accident?

Hey, even better, rotating round tables. No need to get up!

A lazy Biggs, as it were.

Can't agree more; well designed tables make everything better. My favourite venue has 5x3ft tables with the extra space at the sides, around 4ft tall with tall lab-style stools to sit on. It's perfect for me to play in. Shame I only play there once or twice a year :(

I'll honestly settle for places having tall tables, instead of pushing together a bunch of tables usually used for Magic. My back would forever be indebted to anywhere that makes this a standard.
