It doesn't appear as though we can do actual polls here, but I will check back and keep a tally periodically in this post. I'm going to keep the choices simple and ask that replies be made with the number you align closest to. I would like this to stay simple and civil, please, as there are numerous other threads where anyone can vent and/or share any thoughts or feelings they might have on the subject. How do you feel about Intentional Draws?

1) Fine as is, with the rules as they are written in the FFG tournament rules.

2) Fine, but in need of a bit of adjustment. EDIT: removed the examples as apparently some thought those were recommended/required changes, which they weren't

3) Do away with it entirely.

The point of the game is to play it.

1. And if you want to make the cut, maybe play better. The saltiness about this has reached Dead Sea proportions...

Tallied thru 8, though accounting for post 7 was tricky so I went with the '3'.

3, but willing to agree on 2 if zero impact on other players scoring outcomes (to possibly make the cut without manipulating scores). Current ID format is manipulating scoring, which per FFG is "expressly forbidden" (except for the one loss crowd, apparently)

I might have said 2 but that could be misconstrued as thinking it should change into something pointless. If I want to take zero points why not just concede instead especially if it makes all of those "DEATH TO ID!" people happy.

The examples listed in choice 2 are just that: examples. I wasn't necessarily saying those were the changes that need to be made, only that some change is needed.
