Ideas for Good Generic Astromechs

Not sure if something like this has been mentioned already.

Cost ?? 1-2 points (leaning towards one point)

Laser Guidance Astromech

When attacking a ship, if you are in that ship's firing arc, you may convert one dice into a hit.

Something to give jousters a slightly better edge in the initial engagement. It encourages head on fights.

The dice modification in your idea is pretty similar to my original idea. However, I think yours might work a bit better than mine. After doing some thought, I realized that even with Integrated Astromech and my idea for the Guidance Astromech, a Tie Advanced with x1 and ATC would be more efficient, since it adds a crit instead of converting a dice to a hit, it has one additional evade dice, and it has two extra actions in its action bar. In the face of all of that, the X-Wing needs a slightly bigger bump than I initially thought.

My current line of thinking is to make the second idea I had, the CP Astromech, a title instead:

T-65 X-Wing

X-Wing only. Rebel only.

After performing a white [left bank] or [right bank] maneuver, you may rotate your ship 90 degrees and align the edge of the base along the maneuver template as if performing a barrel roll. Then receive 1 stress token.

This gives X-Wings a fantastic ability to arc-hunt, but no real post-maneuver mobility. It basically gives X-Wings a lesser version of the Tallon Roll, but they can go in either direction with it, making it easier to catch arc-dodgers, and also letting them turn a bit tighter than most other ships. It gives them something unique while also keeping them similar to the T-70 in terms of maneuvering. This also keeps the astromech slot free, which is pretty important. Coupled with either my Guidance astromech idea or the one posted above, the X-Wing should be on par in jousting ability to the B-Wing and close to the TIE/x1 with either Accuracy Corrector or ATC. And while the x1 gets more action options, the X-Wing would have more maneuvering options to balance that out.
