I wish I didn't see a reason to create this thread.

Here we are.

Two days of non-stop arguments over Roanoke and Intentional Draws. Some say cheating, collusion and unethical behavior.

Others say it was fair play, they earned their wins, or "don't hate the playa..."

Nobody is convincing anybody, and a lot of people are getting legitimately angry over this, most of whom weren't even involved.

Given that the discussion is going nowhere but into resentment and flame wars, I think it's time to drop it. FFG is certainly aware of the issue and the opinions around it. If they see a reason to make a change, they will. If they don't act quickly enough, those who want action or an official statement will probably get a lot further communicating directly with FFG.

I hereby bow out of any and all discussions of Roanoke, and I'm making this thread to encourage others to do the same. Let the flame threads get buried in the depths of dead threads, and let's get back to focusing on what we love about this game and enjoy ourselves.

Yay, another thread.

so you created a thread specifically to say you aren't going to say anything?

Did you always lose the silence game with Mom by bragging how you were going to stay silent longest?

(I kid, seriously)

(but seriously, you posted this?)

Yay, another thread.

Yo Dawg, I herd you like forums things, so we put a thread in your thread so you can post while you post.

Man this is about as bad as my PSA thread.

OP: Makes topic to make a point and unify things - gets ridiculed and criticized by community. Nice to see meaningful discussion is still overflowing in this forum.

Just dropping it at this point is as good as endorsing FFG's initial decision to put this in and now their doubling down on IDs. I will not.

its a joke.... especially considering we kind of needed jokes after how down the forum has gone today

Everyone is stupid.

And the sparks have just turned to flames....

I'm staying out of this now, see you survivors in a week... if there are any...

everyone feels the need to voice their opinion in a new thread.

Isn't it enough to just shut up and move on without needing to "fire the last shot"?

I wish you didn't see a reason to create a thread with a clickbait title. ;)

Then again... I did fall for it... so that doesn't say much for me... :P

Time to look beyond 100 pt tournament games, is what I say.

I would love to see an organized tournament where the swiss rounds are escalation <100 points. The elimination rounds are 100+ points and the final match is an Epic round (300 points 5 epic points 1v1)
