Just a friendly PSA about a misunderstood and misused concept.
Fly Casual is about your attitude during a game.
Fly Casual is not about making your opponent conform to your idea of Fly Casual.
If you move a ship, forget to do its action, and flip the next ship's dial and start to move it, you missed a trigger. It is OK to ask your opponent, "Oops, I forgot to lay down a Focus token, do you mind if I do?" You can look at your own dials, so merely flipping it isn't giving you any information you didn't already have. Backtracking half a step to take an action isn't a huge deal. However, if your opponent tells you, "Sorry, you missed the trigger," that's OK, too. That's a missed opportunity per the rules. If you are Flying Casual, you say, "OK, you're right," learn from the mistake and improve your game to not do it again in the future.

It is not Flying Casual to get mad about your opponent's decision and accuse them of not Flying [your definition of] Casual.
Fly Casual is about you; Fly Casual is not about your opponent.
So, to quote Han Solo: "I don't know. Fly Casual."
