*The "Winter is Coming" event will be using a limited format in the spirit of FFG's "League" deck building rules.

Each player may use a deck he builds from a limited card pool selected by him; the player's card pool may consist solely of the contents* of:

1. One copy of the Core Set, plus

2. Either (player chooses which option he wants to use):

a. One copy of the Kings of the Sea expansion, or

b. One copy each of three different Chapter Packs selected by the player.

The typical deck building parameters for AGoT apply (see the "Tournament Play and Deck Construction Rules" section in the Core Set rulebook), except that the House (draw) deck minimum is reduced to 50 cards. Also note that where the rulebook says "Your House deck ... may not contain more than three copies of a card", cards with the same title are considered the same for this rule, e.g., the "Robb Stark" in the Core Set is equivalent to the "Robb Stark" in the Kings of the Sea expansion and thus only three copies of those cards (in whatever combination) would be permitted.

Based on George R.R. Martin's bestselling fantasy epic A Song of Ice and Fire, A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, playable by 2-4 players, brings the beloved heroes, villains, locations, and events of the world of Westeros to life through innovative game mechanics and the highly strategic game play. The Living Card Game format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Chapter Pack expansions to the core game.
