Common Builds For Each Ship

Could you guys give me some of the common builds for each ship?

Usually each ship has a base and two pegs, although you can modify the amount of pegs.

There's a few too many ships, i'd rather not type out everything at the moment - so, i suggest giving us a few pilot names, and/or searching the googles...

Luckily, most ships don't have standard builds outside of Whisper (who needs Veteran instincts and advanced cloaking device), Fat Han (who needs C3P0 and Engine Upgrade), Poe (Needs either R2D2 or R5-P9), Corran Horn (needs R2D2), and the builds mentioned by Ravncat.

But having said that, there are a number of upgrades which are usually optimal choices for the slot.

EPTs- Veteran Instincts, Crack Shot, Push the Limit, Predator

Astromechs- R5-P9, R2D2, R3-A2, and, to a lesser extent, BB-8

Crew- faction specific crew tend to always be pretty valuable, so always look into those, but as for the rest, Gunner, Tactician, and Recon Specialist usually find spots here

Modifications- Engine Upgrade, Engine Upgrade, and Engine Upgrade. er... Guidance Chips now I guess too for some builds.

Salvaged Astromechs- Unhinged or the Agromechs

Cannons- All are pretty usuable outside of maybe Flechette cannon

Illicit- Glitterstim and Inertial Dampeners are the go-to right now.

Turrets- Twin Laser Turret is king here by about a mile and a half. Ion has some fun utility though.

Systems- Systems slot is incredible. You pretty much can't go wrong here, although Advanced Sensors and Fire Control Systems are particularly popular, and Accuracy Corrector is catching on as well.

Torpedo, Missile, Bomb- Torps and Missiles haven't been used often in the past, but have found their place back in the game thanks to Guidance Chips. Proton rockets and torps are popular, and Plasma torps as well. Bombs see some use, but still seem to be more of a niche option with no clear favorite among them.

StressHog: Gold Squadron Pilot w/ R3-A2, TLT, BTL-A4 title.

U-boat: Contracted Scout w/Deadeye, R4 Agromech, Extra Munitions, Proton Torpedoes, Guidance Chips

Academy Pilot ... as himself.

Red Ace with R2-D2, Comm Relay,and Autothrusters

Vader with title, ATC, engine upgrade, predator

Inquisitor with PTL, title, autothrusters and Prockets

Omicron group pilot with Palpatine and 2 aces.

Omega Leader with Juke and Comm Relay

B-Wing with FCS or advanced sensors

Biggs with R4-D6 and Integrated Astromech

Howlrunner with Ties

There are dozens of default builds, at least one for every pilot, though for some the default is to leave it off the table.

Poe, R5-P9, Veteran Instincts (or Cool Hand).

YT1300 (any Pilot) with Falcon Title and C-3PO (other upgrades to taste)

If you have the points, R2-D2 is an option, so you don't have to have an action to regenerate. R5-P9 synergizes nicely with Poe's ability, but sometimes you just get stressed :). I usually also give him Autothrusters.

Question...why would you want a turret (Blaster) that costs a focus token to fire? It's only attack value 3. Not really seeing anything beneficial.

There are so many ways to build these ships that it's hard to really pin point common builds. There are a few common ones, but they aren't the ONLY way to fly these. Others just don't have common builds on them. I'll throw in my 2 cents.

Scimitar Bomber w/ Extra Munitions, Homing Missile, Seismic Charge, and Guidance Chip (or LRS when it comes out)

Xizor w/ title, FCS, Flechette Torp, VI, and Inertial Dampners w/ 5 Z-95's

Scyk w/ title and Ion Cannon or Tractor Beam

Vader w/ title, Adv Targeting System, VI, and Engine Upgrade
