Which I failed to do at OH so obviously this goes to show everyone they should make sure they keep to their normal routine before a tournament.

This, right? I'm thinking if I ever EXPECT to do well at a tournament with 30+ people, someone needs to take me aside and slap me. It should be about playing Armada games against great opponents! (The main reason I'm struggling on whether to use the bye card. I WANT TO PLAY!)

On another note...If I'm reading these threads right...in two regionals we have a 3 VSD fleet winning and a Rieekan Carrier list winning? I love this game! This "meta" is so elusive and is about to be smashed to itty bitty pieces with those Floteeyas!

To my knowledge no one from the Flesh Star Destroyer will be going to Kentucky. This machine they call McMann apparently is getting to them all, though!

Remember, Hothgary is potentially the last one in the Americas (if not the world) on the 30th of July, as the Regionals Season outside-of-the-US ends the very next day!

Though I'm not directly invovled with IFF, I am a contributer to WWPD and have pubished a couple Star Wars Armada AARs there (Iron-Tom on WWPD). I will be at the Louisville Regionals, so if you play me, you won't get a mention on IFF but our game might end up as an AAR on WWPD. That is if you don't beat me too badly!

The fargo regionals is going to be the place to be anyways lol. Ok I would rather be doing the two in Alberta but I'll be closer to that one and won't be living in the province anymore by the time they occur. Might try the Minneapolis one as well. And the Winnipeg. Great to see the diversity in the metas...as opposed to the net lists meta we see on the forum.

2nd Round:

I am blanking on my opponent's name, but he was a super nice guy. He was running ISD, naked VSD, Demo, Howlrunner, 2 TIEs, and 2 Interceptors with Vader as his Admiral. Ruthless Strategists absolutely wrecked his squadron force, leaving my rhymerball to pretty much do whatever it wanted the entire game. He flew his ISD and VSD straight at me while Demo flanked the side. The ISD and VSD went down very fast, and his Demolisher managed to take one of my ISD's down. I managed to barely scrape out the kill on the Demolisher during round 6, and with 4 contested outpost tokens, I got a solid 9-1 win.

This was me! I had a blast and learned quite a bit. Always great to play new people, especially when they're such high quality people, both in terms of playing ability and gentlemanly behavior.

Needless to say, I'll be tinkering with my list before the next regionals. Hope to see you there!
