Hi the fire arc shading on the ship counter is different from what is shown on the the rules leaflet. The leaflet shows light shaded areas in the front wedge and the rear half of the ship (blind areas left and right wedges) whereas the counter has the lighter shaded areas for the whole of the front half of the counter ( blind areas the whole rear half).

Obviously my question is which is correct?

Both. The shading in the leaflet is highlighting the two aux arcs by shading them darker. The ship highlights both firing arcs in yellow.

cool thanks, so there is no rear firing arc. for some reason I misread the leaflet thinking there is a rear firing arc when in fact the auxiliary arc is the wedge shaped areas in the front half.
