So.. playing a game this week with a new player,
He only has the FA starter and the Falcon and dosn`t want to use stuff he doe`s not have, so....
Has any one got a fun list only using stuff from those 2 products....
doe`s not need to be 100pts...
set a challenge...
This is actually close to a tournament list. I can see a beginner forgetting about BB-8, though. He might also forget that he can't use him when stressed. Also remember to explain him the basics of all of Hans combined abilities since thats the core of the build.
I feel like a monster pushing fat Han on a new player, but he might like it and the Falcon expansion doesn't really allow for interesting builds. The Falcon in general. Screw that ship!
That's pretty tough with just two expansions, since there's only two ships of each faction to use. My choice would be:

T-70 X-Wing (31), BB-8 (2), Proton Torpedoes (4)
Han Solo (63)
YT-1300 (46), Veteran Instincts (1), Chewbacca (4), Luke Skywalker (7), Millennium Falcon (1), Engine Upgrade (4)
Here's what I came up with.
(Almost same Han as above)
Han Solo — Determination, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Millennium Falcon, Engine Upgrade
Ello Asty — BB-8, Veteran Instincts, Shield Upgrade
One thing I like about this build is that both pilots are PS 9, so a beginner can move them in either order. Also, Ello with BB-8 is really fun to fly.
The Han build is probably best but just to try some options...

Lando has effectively 15 hit points and the evade action so he can stick around a while. Meanwhile Poe could potentially be getting 3 actions per turn stress free behind his 7 hp. You could put the VI on Poe and give Lando Elusiveness, but I think for a newer pilot it would be easier to move Lando second to trigger his ability more often.
With only the FA starter and a Falcon building a 100 point "squadron" from that is a breeze. You start with Poe and Han and then you start adding upgrades from most effective to least.
