We need more aces for this ship. More options. Kind of like the X-wing, a sweet title card would be nice too.

You'll just have to wait for Scum Aces/Veterans then. And hope they don't just go Scyk and Viper first, otherwise you might be in for a long wait.

I completely agree! In fact, I got so impatient waiting for a 'Scum Aces' style release that I went ahead and designed one.

Hm, I'm sure this may have been mentioned elsewhere already, but maybe in an effort to "catch up" Scum to the Rebel/Imperial Aces/Vets, they'll do a 3-ship Scum Most Wanted 2 (Mostest Wanted, lol)... possibly including the Starviper, M-3, and Kihraxz.

It could be 3 ships like they did in Most Wanted. Albeit Most Wanted was still 2 different ships, to create faction balance they might (read hopefully) release the viper, khiraxz and the Scyk as one Ace release.

Try this, Talonbane Cobra, cloaking device Engine upgrade PTL.

You use the cloak on the round before you attack. The next round do your decloak move, then your maneuver and boost if you need to get within range one or just target lock and focus if already in range 1. Kill a ship with amazing burst damage. Also have a couple of Thugs in the back taking pot shots. Your opponent will be so focused on Talonbane you can simply cloak (if it hadn't failed) and move out of the way all other ships will be chasing him.

It is good. It's just freaking 5 waves too late to see action!

But Cloak+EU+VI Cobra is a true Klingon, and with Manaroo he can wreak faces hardcore 24\7

How about Ieutenant Orf for a name? When you recieve damage that exceeds your hull chose one opponent's ship at range one and deal it 1 face up damage card. Pilot Skill Pilot skill 4? 22 points?

It's not been out that long but what it really needs is the same thing x-wing's need, not being able to reposition does not cut it anymore unless you've got a turret slot.

Reposition or damage mitigation, one of those is needed nowadays. Something like "terrifying" would be nice too, where enemy ships within R1 (or R2 and in your arc, not sure) may not attack you... just throwing ideas around...

I like the Kihraxz, and the 23 points veteran with EPT is also a good start. But 5 HP with 2 agility just isn't doing the job anymore.

When i first got into the game, I was given a Kihraxz because the guy said he could not make it do work.

Sounds good to me. A three ship Scum Aces pack sounds perfect.

Even if it doesn't include models for all 3 ships, it will likely have upgrades that address their weaknesses.

Kihraxz should have gotten the mech slot too. It's really missing it.

Fact is, if you have 20 points left over you will not take a K, with guidance chip out I'll rather take a Z with a nice missile. You will get a named Z with missile for those 20 points.

A EPT would be nice that allows an action at the beginning of the combat phase (not an additional action, but take the action at beginning of combat phase instead). The usual Ace (Soontir, Phantom,etc) could not make great use of that, but mid-PS ships would gain something (be able to TL, or some repositioning etc).

Used 5 of them vs Imperial 3 aces . Only lost 2 and won handily. They are a lot of fun.

A Mindlinked KKKZZ list is doing very well locally. The ship isn't useless, it just suffers from all the same stuff that X-wings do.

That's an argument for lowering the price, not for giving it some way of repositioning. Too much repositioning (and turrets) goes against the spirit of the game, in my opinion.

Not every ship needs boost and barrel roll. The X-Wing and the Kihraxz are just a tiny bit too expensive. A title that makes them a bit more cost effective is all they really need, no need to turn everything into an interceptor.

If Integrated Astromech had included a 1pt discount for the droid, with the Kithraxz had been priced at 19 points outright, they'd both be fantastic ships.

Meta-shaping in a small sense (if you wanted generic filler for those last 20pts in your squad, it'd be one of them by default), but given their limitations, far from an unbeatable problem. It's easier to outfly a quartet of X-wings than it is triple Jumpmasters, y'know? ;)

That's the thing, though - without any tricks, that one, singular point is a big deal. And alas, the designers were cautious, so they sit on the sidelines once more.

The Cartel Marauder I think is in a pretty good place, but Talonbane, Graz, and the Black Sun Ace all pay too many points for what they get over the Cartel Marauder.
