I have a twitter feed with source information on the standings but no lists for Rochester! I'm very interested though, Awings took the crown and I want to know what they were up against!

Better late than never... I arrived back yesterday to Houston only to get inundated by the April 18th monsoon. Nevertheless I will do a proper batrep on Saturday's amazing event in Rochester.

As the Juggler will attest to, I have always been a Zed Swarm advocate and having lost at two final tables I almost ended up going that way on Saturday. However, as random chance would dictate I had three lists prepared and written up, it was decided that I was going to run Chihuahua Storm.

5x GSP + AWTP + CR + Adaptability + Crack Shot + AT

When 5-1 in swiss, faced (4) IMP Aces (3) of which with Poppa Palpy. (1) Super Derp/PoPo Platter and a standard Triple Toiletseat with Plasmas & Robert A. Fett esq. Only loss was a close match to one of the Palpy/Ace 60-43

In Top 8 vs Kelvin it was all A-wings all the time, he ran Raging Tycho w/Prockets, Super Jake w/Prockets and (2) Protius type A's

In Top 4 vs Dany faced double Lothal Rebs w/FCS accompanied by Biggy Fries Darklighter with R4 and IA.

In Final vs my pal The Grassman faced his Triple Toiletseat sans Fett.

A great day for the A-wing and the Rebellion!

Would you feel safe running an anti-Acewing list and just crossing your fingers and hoping not to get screwed by facing U-Boats? Did you get lucky with pairings or were there actually not that many U-Boat players?

There were a lot of uboats, but TBH it was a very well spread field. Palp Aces were probably the most popular, followed by scum with some form of Uboat involved.

I faced 3 People with Uboats in some fashion and was flying a variant myself.

Given I'm partial to Rebel swarms my TalaBand would do better v Toiletseats but I will say I had to gut out the W's vs the Toiletseats. There were Toiletseats a plenty in the field but the draw is what the draw is, simply be the better pilot and get favorable dice results.

There was at least one Dash Rendar in the field that was hoping you'd get the Z's out on the mat again... :P

There's always Toronto again. Like I said; you bring the Z's, I'll bring the coffees. See you in the parking lot at dawn!

Challenge accepted, 6/25 awaits.

Well there goes my 59 point VI Navigator Proton Bomb Navigator Imperial Boba. Lol Autoblaster Cannon.

I've done alright with Atanni Mindlink Brobots against U-Boats. With Feedback Array I have decent anti-Soontir also.

Do you think running triple U-Boat with 3 Feedback Arrays instead of 3 Extra Munitions is a good idea? Should autowin against Palp aces, and 3 torps should be enough for the mirror matchup.

This is my preferred version of the boats. So strong against aces. The big problem is making it to the top. When you run into other Uboat lists they have twice the firepower you do and can usually beat you down faster since you are out of torps once you kill the first boat in round one of combat.

PG Slayer: I think two U-Boats and something else gives more options than a straight 3x toilet seat list. the mirror will come down to who has initiative and who can deny actions imo. im a fan of Feedback Array right now. Its great vs imp-aces and pretty solid against most popular lists out there.

im running two U-Boats with two cheap headhunters and im liking my chances vs a 3 scout list. I run feedback array on all my ships, but thats because imp-aces is popular at my LGS.

Lists from this last weekend are now updated on the front page. Feel free to post corrections.

I have most of the results from Rochester, hopefully someone can fill in the last two lists, I'm not sure of the exact lists on those tables as their games ended before mine. Apologies if there are any errors, I'm doing this off the top of my head for the lists I didn't actually face.

Champ: Gerry Russell (7 th Swiss) – 5x A-wing + Test pilot + crackshot + adaptability + AT + Crackshot + Chardaan

Runner up: Johnathan Grasser (1 st Swiss) - 3x JM5k + Plasma Torp + EM + Deadeye + R4 + GC Top 4:

Dany Laberge (3 rd Swiss) - 2x Lothal rebel + FCS; Biggs + R4-D6 + IA

Evan Cameron (4 th Swiss) – Dengar + PTL + Unhinged + K4 + Glitter + Punshing1 + EU; Latts Razzi + 4LOM+Gunner + Bossk

Top 8:

Kelvin Lau (2 nd Swiss) – Tycho + Rage + PTL + test pilot + Prockets + AT; Jake + VI + PTL + test pilot + Prockets + AT; 2x prototype + Chardaan Nicholas Gardner (5 th Swiss) - Palob + adaptability + ion turret; Mandalorian Mercenary + deadeye + dengar + homing missiles + slave 1 + EM + GC, 4-LOM + adaptability + Zuckuss + Mist Hunter + tractor

Graham Schofield (6 th Swiss) – Whisper + ??, Sigma x2 + ??

Wade Kline (8 th Swiss) - Inquisitor + ??; OGP + Palp; Wampa; ??

These standings are correct. The post on the first page of this thread for this tournament is messed up.

Graham Schofield (6 th Swiss) – Whisper + FCS + ACD + Kallus, Sigma x2 +Stygium +Intelligence Agent+ Enhanced Scopes

Not sure about Wade's Palpatine list

Mehhhhh.

This meta looks weird.

And scouts are **** good.

The 3rd and 4th place in the TOP 4 for Rochester need the names to lists flipped. Dany ran the Lothal and biggs list.

And scouts are **** good.

Not quite good enough to actually win , apparently.

I think you could get away with 2 Feedback 32 point Plasma Overclocked Torp boats, and one 35 point Proton Torpedo R4 Agromech one with Boba and Extra Munitions. 99 points.

What is your list by the way?

100pts

Contracted Scout (25)

Extra Munitions (2)

Proton Torps (4)

Boba Fett (1)

Deadeye (1)

R4 Agromech (2)

Guidance Chips (0)

Feedback Array (2)

37 points

Contracted Scout (25)

Extra Munitions (2)

Plasma Torps (4)

Binayre Pirate (12)

Feedback Array (2)

thats my current list. I was previously running overclocked on both scouts and outlaw tech on the scout wout fett crew. I liked that build but i think this one with R4's has more consistent damage output and maximizes ur odds of getting a crit thru with the proton torps.

IM tinkering with running a cheap PS3 misthunter in place of the headhunters, i think that may help vs tanky rebel style squads but i am liking the cheap blockers right now and 4 feedback array hurts imp ace/palp-ace sqauds which are popular at my LGS..

Should be all fixed now!

Weird. Two out of five regional wins so far and no one has cried "A-Wings are OP!". Has this forum gotten sensible?

Takes a while for the bandwagon to pick up speed.

But if A-Wings are a big new thing then it's just a Crack Swarm variant really.

I really, really really hate TOME. Since the beginning of it's use we have seen less and less lists in juggler.

Thanks FFG.

A-Wing crack swarm is certainly an expensive squad to run! You need

Rebel Aces X 2

A-Wing x 3

Starviper x 3

Kirahz x 5

Edited by Vuud

Don't forget 3 mist hunters for adaptability.

You need Rebel Aces in triplicate, actually. You only get 2 copies of the title in each.

Some of us already had six A-Wings including three from aces...
