2016 Regionals Results

You could really say any of the cards in the combo is undercosted because you could run the list at something like 89 points and it would still destroy 99% of possible list compilations.

Hyperbole much? Please do tell how Dengaroo (especially at 89 points) 'destroys' the following archetypes:

-Triple scouts

-Brobots

-Dash/VCX

I don't think it does. Dengaroo can suffer to any of those lists.

Dengaroo with dampeners is a much harder cookie to fly against from my experience with dash. I feel fairly confident to beat it with dash vcx if it is the stimulus version.

Brobots can melt anything in front of them and they have good agi and high health.

And as for torp boats. Bump masters blocks dengar. He then eats plasma torp proton torp and gets his punishing one ejected.

I say this from experience. As I after last year's worlds I placed top 8 with dash making me the top dash player currently.

My brother won that Australian regionals with a dengaroo list we designed together.

And I won a regional championship in aus with Boats.

The difference is important because dengar torpscouts and crackswarm CAN hit palp aces but they murder low agi FAR more easily

Dengar is nowhere near torp scouts levels of damage vs low agility targets. Dengar's damage is very reliable (even through greens), but it's not that high. All he gets is one 3 dice primary with 2 shots (compared to triple scouts' 4 dice x3). Dengar will never be able to trade shots with stuff like Brobots or Dash/VCX lists and come out on top.

You can also lose to bad dice here, but in general Kanan/Biggs should stand a fairly good chance against Dengaroo. And you can see in in the tournament report here he loses to it in swiss. Afterwards in elimination he beats it though...

some pretty cool tech in that championship list :)

Meta Gamez, Fredericton New Brunswick Canada had their regional this past weekend. July 30. Last one world wide i believe.

There were some interesting lists.

48 players I believe (with some last minute cancellation, not sure if the spots were filled)

Some of the builds I remember. At least 4 dengeraoo builds. Some with different tweaks. Probably half dozen or so imperials aces with shuttle (2 had whisper omega, one had fel jax, a couple fel Inquisitor, and I think another may have had a defender in there). Triple defender, duel kwing list with tlt, bombs, duel firespray list with bombs, 2 U-boats And slaver, ghost attack shuttle and two awings, ghost biggs attack shuttle, 2 binyre pilots 2 kihraxz ywing, manaroo palob guri, at least 2 different crackshot tie swarms, and a palmobile Vader 3 academy, vessery Inquisitor and omega, jake Poe red ace, and a falcon and Poe (I think not sure but was 1 falcon with small ship) That's all I can remember

The winner was a Inquisitor, fel and palmobile.

Top 8 (not entirely sure as we ended up not being able to stay :( after making the cut, just want to add they did offer to fill our spots but I'm not sure if it was filled :( ) was 2 dengaroo builds, Tie swarm, shuttle Vader 3 academy, fel jax yorr, Inquisitor fel shuttle. Not sure what the other two were. Maybe someone will post with more details.

Edit also not sure what the two replacement were if they were filled. My buddy and I could not stay after both making the cut. I flew dengeraoo, and he was jax fel and yorr. (Same list he won store champion ship with)

I don't think 3 lists compose more than 1% of possible list compilations...

I think they used Cryodex, so the results should be uploaded soon.

I believe there were 6 Dengaroos total. Quite a few Defenders floating around too. Didn't see any Trip Scouts. There was one Crack Swarm, one double Firespray, one double Deci, one double Ghost. At least two Mynock specials.

For top 8, the TO allowed players to fill your spots; but 7th place dropped without letting anyone know so I had a bye in the top 8 round.

Winning list was actually Inquisitor, Jax, and Palp; and I faced off against standard Dengaroo with Gonk on Manaroo.

Top 8 was all Palp Aces and Dengaroo I think.

Sorry my bad. Forgot you said you were running jax. Congratulations, and my deepest apologies for dropping out. Would have loved to stay, but with no intention of spending the night we wanted get home.

Hopefully get some vassal games against ya
