The results from the Warsaw regionals (46 people) are already up with some lists still missing: http://lists.starwarsclubhouse.com/get_tourney_details?tourney_id=1734

The meta was really weird, almost no U-Boats and lots of mine/bomblaying K-wings to deal with the Aces. There were 3 lists with bomb K-wings in the top 8 (I think one of the missing lists is double K-wings, basically a mirror of number 4 and the other missing list as of now was a Super Dash / Ghost combo).

The finals were Palp Aces with Omega/Inquisitor Wampa vs. Miranda Corran with Rebels winning the match :)

Winner:

Miranda Doni + Twin Laser Turret + Extra Munitions + Sabine Wren + Ion Bombs + Cluster Mines + Advanced SLAM + Conner Net

i use that Miranda list to quite good effect just with VI instead of PTL I'm glad a list I'm familiar with won, any ideas if its on youtube?

Which is interesting as Miranda doesn't have an EPT slot.

16 players total (small country).

Everyone who usually flies Palps Aces was so sick of flying them all the time that there were no real Palp Aces lists. One of our Palp Acers said he wanted to replace Soontir with the Countess but since Imp Vets are nowhere to be found he took 4 thugs with TLTs.

We had no triple U-Boats or Ghosts.

Scum was the most played Faction. Mostly dual IGs which did poorly and some smaller swarms (4x TLT-Ys, HWKs with Zs and other small stuff).

The Hobart, Australia Regional was won yesterday by Alex C. running 5x Green Squadron Pilots with Adaptability, Crack Shot, Autothrusters, etc.

Triple Uboats (symmetrical with plasmas) won another regionals in East Germany yesterday. He beat 2uboats+Palob in the finals.

I love how the week after we get a varied, diverse list of winners, the reality check comes back in and we get Crack Swarm, Triple Uboats and (in MD) either Uboats or Palp Aces winning.

I should probably stop getting my hopes up that these things will be "figured" out and just wait for Wave 9 to break up the meta. :lol:

I am sure someone will post more later, but Duncan Howard took the Glen Burnie MD Regional with his Palp, Inquisitor, Sontir list.

I think there were high 90s for player count. Quite a few different squads made top 16, including K-wings with Bombs, Boba Fett and Dengar, Trip Tie/FO Palpmobile, Mynock Special, Zuckuss 2 Torpboats, and my Corran Ezra Biggs.

Great tournament, great competition, great venue.

Thats actually super cool! I am not very skilled player yet, but I am flying these 3 ships as well and it's suprisingly good! I need to convince a good player to take it and win a tournament with it because it has what it takes!

My list:

Talonbane - crackshot, engine upgrade

zuckuss - crackshot, fcs, title, tractor beam

Manaroo - deadeye, plasma torp, agromech r4, extra mmu, guidance chips

The thing is that Manaroo is what Talonbane needed to shine. He needs his action to be spent on Engine Upgrade, and Manaroo can give him both target lock and focus token for 5 dice shenanigans.

Srsly, this build is superb. So glad tha someone won a regionals with it ^^

Your list and tortugatron's list were definitely my favorite lists I saw that day. Very creative and very effective.
