Glad to see u-boats competing without dominating so far. Not looking great for B's still. Or non-Biggs X's.
Or Ys anymore.

I was top 4 in NM. There were only 3 byes used.
Lost to Julian's A-Wings in the semis.
I'd be interested to hear about how he flew the 5 A-wings. Did he use Adaptability to make a few (or all) a lower PS in order to block? I suppose that's the beauty if Adaptability on A-wings--you could use it to go PS2 vs Scouts in order to block them, or PS4 vs TLT Y-wings to get into the bubble, or some combination thereof.
I know at hoth Ron brannon was running 5 a wings and went to ps4 against scouts, not sure if that's prevailing wisdom or was just his plan for that situation
Huh, I would have thought that having a couple at lower PS for denying actions would be useful. I suppose that arc dodging and concentrating fire trumps blocking when you only have 2 attack dice.

With all of them at PS 4, you have a decent chance of PS killing one of the Contracted Scouts off before it fires. Otherwise, you can see where they end up they boost into range 1 where the A-wings have the advantage. If he blocks an A-wing or two, its not such a big deal.

That is my thinking, just close the gap with the A-Wing and paper cut them to death. Sure, you could bump and deny actions, but doesn't matter I reckon if you are not in the 2-3 range.
Is anyone going to be streaming at either of the regionals this weekend?

Hey MJ,
Can I request on the first page a 'calendar' or something listing all the regionals each day?
I know you provided a link but FFG is blocked at work, even though the forums are not.
Thanks!!!

Sure, will put this in the to-do queue.
it would be nice if ffg could update the regionals locations etc. munich on april 2nd, not even on the list of ffg...
maybe someone has the regionals for france and germany???
thx
Is there YouTube of the Awing v toilet seats?
For the record Phoenix had 3 Stores submit for a regional and even though we get great attendance including 50 person Store Champs, we were NOT awarded a Regional.
And the Top 8 of New Mexico had 4 Phoenix Players, 1 Tucson, 1 New Mexico, 1 Canada, and 1 more non-New Mexico in Leighton..not sure what his home City is, but he flew in.
Further 9th was New Mexico, 10th was Tucson, and 11th was Phoenix.
Arizona didn't get a Regional, but we traveled well.
Hopefully FFG pays more attention to attendance and population of players. The next Regional AZ players will show up to in force is San Diego, which is already sold out and capped at 130 players I believe.

I took a picture every turn and put them on Facebook. That's as close as we'll get.

Where on facebook can we see?
There was a Ten Numb list in Roanoke this morning that was outstanding! Interested in how it does through the whole day. You can see it on Stele Enterprises YouTube channel. (Mobile or I would link it)
Does anyone know how this list during the tournament? I played this list tonight and had a blast playing it.

If your referring to the vi ten, stresshog, bomber b then that was my buddy. He ended up 19th, he said he lost a couple due to poor setup on his part (ten numb is slow when trying to catchup). List also has some trouble vs. things like a ghost or triple scouts. Sure smashes aces though.

It's currently in the Tucson X-Wing group, which is probably members only. I'll make a post in the tournament reports forum here tomorrow.

As a non-FB-user: that would be great!
I am really happy to see an Alpha squadron pilot at the very top of a tournament.

I think they'll be streaming the day's games, based on the last few tournaments. It also has the distinct advantage of being a 20 minute walk from my house!

AZ has an absolutely booming X-Wing scene. It's pretty insane that FFG didn't select any of our very nice, and highly qualified local game stores to host a regional event. Oh well, more road trips for the gang I guess. Maybe they'll get the picture when we bring all the trophies from neighboring states back here and then send them a picture of the pile.
Good times.
