Hey everyone I've been playing xwing for a while and for fun military reasons I'm now outside of Charleston South Carolina. Anyone know of any good spots for xwing? And any common days to play during the weekend? I've heard of green dragon does anyone else go there?

Hi. I'd try looking on Facebook. I'm up in Charlotte, NC and actually was just down that way a couple of weeks ago. Family vacation.

There is a group called "Upstate South Carolina X-wing/Armada Alliance". They might not be directly in your area, but most people know about other groups in your area. Such as me knowing about this one in SC. If you can't find the one in your area, you can ask them. They are pretty nice.

I know there are a few around the state, but going out to Charleston is a bit out of my range. I'm sure there's something.

For the most up to date information on the Charleston X-Wing community join their Facebook group, Charleston X-Wing. There is also a Meetup.com group, but not many players use that.

The Green Dragon, next to Northwoods Mall in North Charleston, hosts X-Wing events at 5:00 pm every Thursday night. There is a modest room fee to use the space, but the store owners will waive that if you make a purchase [not sure of the minimum purchase amount, but 1 x-wing miniature is enough.]

On Saturdays, you can head to The Final Round. Located near the K-mart in Ladson, the group meets at noon. I don't think that there is a room fee to play here, but most of us make a purchase when we play in order to support the store.
