Countering the Ghost...

Ghost doesn't seem too hard. Just stay out of those firing arcs and shoot it down. Eventually they will have to pop the phantom (when it is down to 4 hull or less) be ready for that. The ghost essentially takes 3 ships out of the squadron (large ship counts as two) although it can make an additional turret attack (half for TLT) it still isn't as much as say 4 Y-wings.

Ghost should really be posing no more of a problem than the VT-49 Decimator.

fat ghost isn't all that great and can be reliably outplayed

the auto-correct (or FCS auto-blaster) or "fat defender" (hera FCS +/- Ezra crew) variants are very effective for relatively cheap, and they scare aces. They have a small bit of a learning curve since you gotta get used to staying out of range 1 (ie long approaches) and get used to the idea of infinite 5ks without a single **** given about stress, respectively

1 plasma torpedo & 2 advanced proton torpedos (from focused ships) .... in a good day will leave it with 1 hull left... in a bad day 8 hull :\

or just shoot it with primary weapons

it goes down really quickly, and without a PWT it can't always return fire

There are a lot of munitions builds waiting to be discovered I think and U-boats, ghost and even palp aces will bring them out of the woodwork. I experimented a bit with KBY plasma spam and except for kanan/biggs or zuckuss it did alright. Retuning it without the K for blockers. Otherwise melted JP5000's Firesprays and ghosts.

When playing Epic ships, I just normally throw plenty of basic weapons at them and they burn down quickly. Ghost is similar but with no Reinforce action but a few other tricks up its sleeve.
