I use the Talents regularly when creating NPCs to give them a little individuality. As it is they are scattered nilly willy everywhere and hard to reference. I found an index online but it only give the book and page number of the actual listing, not much of an improvement over searching them out myself.

I was considering making a spreadsheet or something with the Talents and a short blurb on how they function but figured surely somebody already has this available. It seems like a useful idea.

That was my hope yes, I have an index to help find the one that your looking for but ... well typically you don't know which one your looking for until you recall what it does.

The BeggingforXP guys may have put together a list like this so that they can keep everything straight for their sheets. You might want to check with them before you start any arduous task in this space.

Might be useful for those cases in which you can remember the name of the talent but not where you found it, and you could copy/paste it as a starting point for making one with the level of rules detail you need.

I took their info, inserted into a Excel sheet and am adding an abbreviated description of the effect. I have finished the Edge Corebook talents and moving on. I hope to have a sheet up on my box and will post here in a few days.

I would advise caution here, amigo. We aren't exactly sure where FFG draws the line between fair use and copyright infringement, but I would imagine it begins close to where you're heading by putting the descriptions into the document. Perhaps your abbreviation will be sufficient!

Yeah, I got to thinking about this too. Likely it will remain for my own personal use. Perhaps later if someone contacts me personally I can describe how it came out.

So long as you don’t include any more information than the BeggingForXP guys do, I would hope that you would be okay. I mean, they’ve been around for a while, and they’ve been updating their content. IMO, their specialization/talent sheets are better than the ones that FFG creates, and I would be really surprised if FFG didn’t already know about them.

But copyright law is a weird beast, and you never know what might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, and causes all sorts of hell to be unleashed.
