For the first time in years FFG will be holding events at the Origins Game fair.

Just wondering who will be making the Con?

Considering this is the Nationals for X-Wing. Im going to guess A LOT including myself!

I am honestly worried at how quick it will all sell out, I have gotten my badge now that I know the dates and have a hotel reserved etc. But if this sells out like Worlds last year....

I worry that

A) they are not ready for that volume and it will crash

B) that they are going to do it an inconvenient time

I might put in an appearance. Columbus is only a 2 hour drive from my house.

Events are going on sale 4/20

The site usually crashes briefly on event registration day. I believe event registration starts at noon on the 20th, but I have only ever been shut out of 6 player events in the past, if I was online at noon.

Your not too far away from me. (I'm in Bedford near I480, I271 split.) Ihave been driving all the way to Rocky River for a regular game.

Akron area. I play on Fridays down on the cuyahoga valley at JAC games. Good store. We mostly have x-wing and imperial assault players but there are a couple of people with armada fleets too.

Yeah, I've been to the Meeple several times. It's about a 50 minute drive for me. Post something when your going to run, I'll try to be there. Can't promise anything though, my plate is awfully full lately.

Stele is having Armada, I'm playing there. NoVA has it, but I'm full up with XWing Narrative and Infinity.

So I see that at Origins apparently there are Star Wars: Armada National Championships being held there. I had thought there was only one national championship and its at Gencon but it looks like they are held at Origins too. Can anyone confirm that up?

Wow, that is confusing. So Origins is just the National Championships? I am assuming that a win in either one would give a first round bye in Worlds
