What happens, if Soontir Fel flies into Chopper? At the start of the combat phase, Chopper gives stress to ships touching his ship. Is Soontir able to receive the focus token if Chopper gives him stress at the start of the combat phase? If he does, flying Soontir into Chopper isn't the worse idea of all (considering that there's no Zeb or you are outside Chopp's arc).
Soontir Fel meets Chopper
He does get a focus token, but it's still a very bad idea to fly into a blocker.
What he doesn't get is his other two actions (meaning no getting outta dodge or turtling down) and the opponent, having successfully blocked him, knows exactly where he is.
Yes, he gets the focus token. The source and timing of the stress is irrelevant.

Soontir gets his stress, then chopper's zeb crew lets him double tap soontir with the autoblaster turret and accuracy corrector for a dead Baron, completely ignoring said focus token in the process ![]()
This is a perfect example of why the wording on the cards is so important. Fel's ability lets him receive a free focus token whenever he gets stressed. If he gets shot by a stressbot, he gets a focus. When he performs a red maneuver, he gets a focus. I always forget to focus him up in these cases, because I'm so **** used to the action, ptl, action, stress, focus routine...
edit: I hate autoblasters and that Ten Numb guy. "Oooh, look at me, I'm shooting you and you can't do anything about it. I'm so special." **** turds. ;-)
