Arc Dodging rebels T-70- Attack Shuttle-Y-wing

This list, is meant to be a good counter to U-Boats while still being able to handle other lists. The goal is to completely outfly the opponent. With the amount of flexibility in the maneuvering that Ello in this build and Sabine bring to the table any generic based list with have an extremely hard time keeping them in arc. Palp aces will be an issue though blocking then becomes very important and Sabine especially can be VERY effective at this as she can literally pick a point on the map and be there easily. The worry, is that there is almost no room for pilot error here.

Kanan is there so sabine can do 2 turns and 4 forwards and still clear stress

I had thought about intel agent though and predator on sabine.

I actually like the Ion Turret on the gray a bit more now for one reason, U-Boats, if I stay at range three I am dead and double stress and Ion? that is a pain in the butt and no mistake for them

As a list, its certainly not bad, but as a specific counter to u-boats? No its not going to cut it (by that I mean, its not an easy fight for you).

I have actually tried something similar:

Ello w/ lone wolf, R2-D2, autos = 38

Sabine w/ predator, intel agent & TLT = 31

Red Vet w/ R3-A2, crack shot & autos = 31

It was fairly close, but still a bit of an uphill battle. Ello does not have enough mobility to avoid eating torpedoes (BB-8 won't solve that imho, because you need the long 3 banks/3 hard turns to escape a scout's arc).

Sabine was the best ship of the 3. Consistently staying out of arc and chipping away (almost always dealing 2 damage per turn thanks to predator, plus a nice R1 primary 3 hit + crit attack that finished one scout off). I still ended up losing though---Ello coul not escape and even though R3-A2 worked pretty good, shutting down one scout just encouraged my opponent to use it as blocker and then try launching later after clearing the stress.

So your list might work if you can outfly the opponent, but given somewhat equal player skill, I would say your list is at a bit of a disadvantage.

I had better success with this, however:

Corran w/ PTL, advanced sensors, R2-D2 & engine = 49

Proto pilot w/ autos = 17

Sabine w/ lone wolf, chewie & TLT = 33

Chewie is necessary to keep Sabine alive. Even though its easy to avoid torpedoes, R4 means thhose 2 dice turrets are not as wimpy as you might think (since she has 2 agility and no autothrusters). Proto can protect corran by blocking, and advanced sensors allows you to position Corran (and push for an evade/focus) so he ony has to take 1 torpedo a turn (which R2-D2 can recover from). Double tap helps kill a scout relatively quick, which you need to do to keep from getting overwhelmed.

PTL off of boost to Barrel Roll.

Reveal Green Maneuver on dial.

Clear Stress.

Evade or Focus.

Profit.

Works the same with Ello

Reveal Green Maneuver.

BB8 Barrel Roll.

PTL to Boost.

Perform Green Maneuver revealed earlier.

Clear Stress.

Target Lock or Focus.

Profit More.

Yes the supreme action economy with Ello and Sabine is another factor. Having target locked focus 3/4 dice attacks on a supremely mobile platform is a great tool.

In the end I want a list that really has the potential to go up against jump-masters and Palpaces. I know that this is going to be difficult for rebels, but there has to be a way.

Yes, Yes. I get how it works (I've played this game quite a few times). What I'm saying is, you can pull off arc-dodging just fine without needing Push the Limit for both BR and Boost. Sabine is squirrelly enough with just one of the two plus whatever move does the trick. Then you can take a better EPT for more powerful attacks and a better crew to keep her safe from other turrets.

Hrm. The meta I play in, you need the extra action if you're going to be trying to pull Arc Dodging shenanigans.

I feel confident in saying its not meta dependent. However, you should play with what you are comfortable with. If you like PTL on Sabine, go for it!
