Matt, does it mean that Empire is effectively prevented from having Darth Vader as a squadron? (As 5 player team forces one of the players to use him as an admiral)

Imo let them use him as a squadron. Rebels already have more ships (and as such, more titles) to spread around.

If not, we can do an MTG style booster draft where we pass a 'pack' of uniques shuffled in and pick one and pass it. It would make the list building more 'winging it'

How many players so far? If there is still places remaining I'm up for it, preferably using a Rebel list but I can use an Imperial list if required. If the war drags on for more than a month I may have to become neutral though.

Also, how are we doing matchups? Random or picked? I haven't finished the 3rd round, but from the first and 2nd rounds, the team with the bid, won overall in each case. (And that seems to be true for the 3rd round as well.) If we do picked, I'd suggest having teams pick 1 matchup, then the 2nd team pick two, then the first pick 2 more (assuming a 5v5). I do like the idea of randomness, though, plus it fits with it being more chaotic.

Also, I can probably help compile scores/check lists. (Heck, most vassal tournaments, I've gone through and made a list of all fleets.)

I love this idea. Someday I will have to learn Vassal, but I think this would be a good idea for a store league as well.
