Hi guys,

So recently i have had to move for a short contract job, and i figured i now have a tone of time to kill in the hostel... Luckily next to my job i discovered a game shop :) . Did some research about what to purchase and thats how i ended up here.

I hope this box will bring plenty of fun in the coming months.

Cheers,

Ogi.

Hi neuk,

you don't have anyone to play against? Then you should get one of the coop expansions. But in the end of the month the "Road to Legend App" will be available (hopefully), which is a coop game which you could play with just the core game "Descent second edition" (or for more fun: get more expansions and use them too). ;)

And if you got some people to play against, it is one of the best games around IMHO.

(That doesn't mean the coop is bad.... I just haven't got any of the coop expansions.... so I can't comment on that part.)

Grats. I think the game has some huge potential with lots of room for growth. I got it for myself as a birthday present as a sort of D&Dlite since our lives are getting too busy as we age to plan campaigns. Nonetheless I keep daydreaming of making my own rules, campaigns, heroes and classes. Since I've been educated on the co op rules I've been contemplating creating my own expansive list of rooms and effects one could randomize for a real roguelike experience.

Cheers guys :) .

Luckily my fiance is with me, so i plan on learning the game with her, this could take some time, but im not in a hurry :) Although i will definitely have to play as the overlord with her.

Im in quite a hype right now as i have discovered there is also the heirs of blood expansion book, and a quest vault  , so it looks like im in for quite some fun, just wish i had found this before the winter while it was still rainy and i had no reason to leave the house, not now when the summer is creeping up :D .

Well... if it's not windy outside you could play it outdoors. Don't let the cards and the field too long out in the sun... it could bleach out because of the sunlight. :P

Nothing wrong with being in a nice cooled room playing descent, while others suffer outside in the heat. ;-)
