I just thought I would throw out a heads up, as FFG has not been holding events, nor even having a presence at Origins the last few years.

There will still be the North American Championship at Gen Con, correct?

As far as I know. I can't imagine they would drop the GenCon events.

I was under the impression that Generally, there's only 1 Nationals Event, y'know.. Per Nation...

So it might have shifted, and instead, they'll have one of those new-fangled "System Open" Events at GenCon instead... Or something else entirely, as long as its event-ful.

The USA is SOOOO awesome, we get TWO nationals...

Where's a Lee Greenwood or Toby Keith song when you need it....

::shrug:: No Idea. I won't get to either of them, and Canadian Nationals for X-Wing have traditionally been held in a Venue where you seem to need to pay $170 for Entry into the Con + Parking before you even get to the Event entry Fee... >.>

And that's after flying across the Country to Toronto... ::shudder::

Origins is having the US National Championships

Gen Con is having the North American Championships - I guess Canadians and Mexicans can go to this.

Since, I doubt they will check your ID, I am sure anyone from anywhere even Hoth can play at these events.

Once you register you can add events. I like how FFG made the finals separate events that anyone can sign up for. Sorry Armada fans me and another gamer have the finals locked down already. That's going to cause some headaches from confusion/refunds.
