Flew 2 Ghost-ship

Flew 2 Ghost-ship today. Only mistake I made was confusing with 1 turret - both had TLT on my list, which was wrong. 1 Ghost was suppose to have Dorsal Turret instead... Here's the list:

Kanan Jarrus (Pilotlevel 5)

Dorsal Turret (not Twin Laser Turret ugh)

Fire Control System

Proton Torpedo

Extra munitition

Recon Specalist x 2

Lothal rebel (Pilotlevel 3)

Twin Laser Turret

Fire Control System

Dash Rendar

Chopper

All is 100 point. Sadly I flew 103p today with wrong turret... Small asteroids are best for Ghost, less worry for losing action. Lothal most always fly in front and Kanan back. Main goal with Lothal is to distrubt and cause confusing for opponent while Kanan lay back and take it cool with 3 focus. Why TLT on Lothal and not Dorsal? Well most of the time, ship are ranged 2 to 3. Later on Lothral will leave the spot and fly far, letting Kanan fly close and use either Primary or secondary attacks Range 1 to 2. Lothal loves to land on Asteroid a few times to surprise the opponent with Dash Rendar - attack and never be obstructed!!! Chopper is a bless since taking a damage can help the Ghost some time. Fire Control System is marvelous on Ghost since you get a free target lock no matter what.

So enough with list and tactics. How did it fell to fly 2 Ghosts? Well fun yet annoying. First of, Ghost is to **** big. Often you had to remove a ghostship to make space for maneuver - at one point, stopped puting the model back, since again, is to big and take space. The "peg" for Ghost has some issues, it fell of most of the time when moved the ship due to weight of Ghost - Ghost is to heavy. It was nice to brag with flying 2 Ghost... sadly peopled asked how much I spend money on does ship then prasing how wonderful to see 2 Ghost in play. It is fun to fly Ghosts. Turrets and FCS makes it sure it always get a target lock. Torpedo back is nice to surprise people. 2 Ghost with 32 points; 12 shield and 20 hull makes feel like it can never be taken down - 2 gaint Goliath. Primary is awesome 4 to 5 dice. K-turn on 5 is perfect to keep distance yet get better firing arc. Ghost is fun for been big.

when they designed it it didn't occur to them one might fly 2 so there's no way to fly 2 together very close without removing the ship. I wish they sold me an epic peg support

You could run TLT instead of the torpedo and the extra munitions...maybe a better longer pay off.

Two VCX is pretty good. Triple scouts is very rough though.

I wish Bombers and Punishers had a title to reduce the cost of all torpedo.png,missile.png, and bomb.png upgrades by 1 to a minimum of 1!

Triple Jumpmasters is zany, but I'd rather fly something more patriotic.

Remember the Ghost can shoot torpedoes backwards. That can help a while bunch :)

And big. Freaking too big. Just look at the size of that ship. It's not a moon or a spacestation. It's a Ghost.

2 TLT and no torpedo is a maybe. I might replace 1 extra munition and Recon specalist with Chewbacca.

I might change so Lothral has Dorrsal and Torpedo and Kanan TLT. I like go crazy with Lothral, ignoring asteroids, flying close.Pkaying crazy helps in X-wing sometimes.

Shooting torpedo helped me once and surprised my opponent a lot. Remember, Proton Torpedo turns a eye into crit and Guidence chip a blank into crit (primary attack higher then 3) - 2 crits makes more impact then just 2 hits. Also I rather throw 4 dice and try to get 3-4 hits then roll twice and hit twice.

So anyone used those back torpedoes effectively? What's the rule on that? Do you have to have the Phantom docked for that?

I flew two with a generic and had some success though I think it's way too vulnerable to opponents getting hot on their reds because even low quality attacks wreck them.

I had the perfect game against triple jumpmasters and still lost because of 2-die plinks.

Downgrade 1-2 Concs to Plasma Torps. Then give Jonus Twin Ion Engine II and Tracers. Then you can fit Seismics/Ion Bombs on 2 Gammas to round it out. Because you will struggle vs arc-dodgers, particularly without said bombs.

They are what holds back any rebel large ship build.

Small rebel ships don't do a lot better. But if I'm being honest with myself rebels have kind of had a run since 2014.

having played against double ghost, it's nowhere near the one-sided stomp I've been led to believe

ended with just one scout on two hull. Granted, I fly manaroo over a third scout, but the jumpmasters don't last much longer than the ghosts do (though the opponent was rolling a stupid amount of hits on unmodified dice)

plus, they're pretty intimidating

Rebel captive on jonus. Make they be really sure they want to shoot the support bomber. Maybe also twin ion with the last point just to make it easier to fleet officer a lot.
