Poe Dameron comic

By DarthEnderX, in X-Wing

I followed Hobo's logic to it's logical conclusion, with the new trilogy being a mirror of the old one. and ew.

That means that Luke is Kylo's real father.

He was such a none entity in the film I can't say I'd have much interest in a comic about him.

Really? His brief screen time is considered to be a high light of the film.

The only character trait i got from him was that he's a good pilot, he's not even 2 dimensional he's 1.5.

Not only a good pilot, the best resistance pilot, and also an important resistance intelligence agent, a survival expert, badass against interrogation, with a heart for the suffering of weaklings, a leader, and probably with a interracial gay love interest that could develop in a full amorous triangle in the future.
Well, obviously he haven't a Citizen Kane's character development, but for a Star Wars Film...

Nononononono those are princess leia traits i'm talking about stuff specific to him not stuff carried over when he was given the princess role.

Leia forces Dameron to look at Finn with undisguised desire?
Leia forces Dameron to reveal his position trying to avenge the death of innocents in Daaku?
Of course, Poe act as an intelligence agent, and as wing leader because Leia (or the resistance leaders) ask him to. But Bond also act as spy because the MI6 ask him to.

I don't think you understand poe is princess leia he fills the exact same role Carrie did in a new hope, he is a gender swapped copy so he has via osmosis gained her character traits.

Ahh, sorry, actually I haven't understood you.
Given that the episode VII takes a very similar structure to the episodes IV, V and VI, you're right that Poe takes the place of Leia in much of the plot (captured, tortured yet challenging, rescued, then form a romantic triangle). Ok with that.
But if so, does it cease to be something more than a good pilot?. The Last Man Standing and A Fistful of Dollars are based on Yojimbo, but Bruce Willis's or Clint Eastwood's characters are more than just a ronin with no development. And both are far more related to Sanjuro than Poe with Leia.

Oh hey, it's the duros from the Shattered Empire comics.

Neato.

This is the ONLY reason I'd want (non-random) card packs.

I want the properly named T-70 pilots!

More BB-8. Win win.
