If you were running Kanan (with FCS and Recon Spec), PTL Sabine in the Shuttle, and Biggs, what list(s) would you not want to face?

But, I would think Dash is problematic. Palp + aces will be tough too. Crackswarm would likely be difficult for this list too, since Biggs won't last long and TIE fighters are quite good vs 0 agility.
It's more a matter of how you play rather than what you play. You have to give the Ghost's primary and Autoblaster Turret the appropriate respect and not be afraid to turn tail and run for a until you can come back around from a safe angle. Do that well and you'll beat it with just about any solid squad.

I'm just looking to practice my Ghost list (against myself) and want to find some troublesome match ups.
Edited by TTCI can tell you any lists with arc dodgers and/or burst damage will give this list trouble. I've run a couple different versions of the Kannan/Biggs - Kannan/Stresshog - Hera/Han Solo lists and arc dodgers are the VCX's biggest weakness, especially if you are running autobalster turret.

Arc dodges are tough, that's why you want Dorsal turret or something similar. Not much dmg from 2 dice, but better that nothing.
Also regen and burst damage is hard for this list, a lot HP is too.
Regen as you don't have a lot attack dice, so if opponent plays correct can be hard.
Burst damage, just decimates your ghost. Like Proton Rockets.
A lot HP, like 3x Lamda with decent firepower with Soontir.
Stress is quite a killer for that list, since stress equals no actions and no focus is a bad thing for them.

I think 'sniper' ships that like R3 would be problematic, because oftentimes Biggs can be out of range, and Kanan's ability won't trigger. Ships like The Inquisitor (How thematic!) and HLCs will be kind of tough.
My favorite list at the moment is the 8 TIE swarm, and I must admit I would be licking my chops in this matchup, but I think Sabine does well to counter that. It would be a hard fought battle, and if Kanan and Biggs were able to drop 3-4 of the TIEs it would be possible for Sabine to clean up. I really like her with Kanan crew, but obviously that isn't an option here. The best thing with her is she is able to Focus+Evade every turn with a reposition. The academies wouldn't be able to block, and she would be able to pick a few off I'm sure.
Tie swarm would be a vicious battle, that is for certain. It could go either way. On the one hand, with zero agility, the Ghost will acumulate a lot of damage. On the other hand, against 2 Reds, Biggs' defences will be stronger allowing him to hang around longer.
Chopper + Ion projectors would be hilarious against a swarm as you would probably end up with so many bumps it would be unreal. Then use Sabine to drop a Conner Net before pulling a 5K and blasting the confused mass of Ties. ![]()

I like Sabine with Kanan crew too, but I can't figure out a better VCX-100 build.

furthermore, managing range against opposing lower PS large-base ships gives you a bit of a tricky prosect, because
1.) Biggs has to be in range 1-3 (out of arc if possible)
2.) Kanan has to be in range 1-2
3.) If Kanan bumps into a jumpmaster, everything falls apart anyway
sabine, meanwhile, is awesome but she's a z-95 against turrets.
Edited by ficklegreendiceShe is a Z95 that can focus and evade every turn for no stress. She handles fine against jumpmasters. With the bases, I think engaging into R2 with Kanan on the opening salvo of torpedoes will be a big decider on the outcome. Are you forcing him to shoot two torpedoes with only three dice? If so, Biggs might be able to tank 2 torps with IA and die on the 3rd. Half of the alpha strike has been spent, and if you're in R2 you may be blocking the 2sloops with Kanan. After that, you just try to kill one jumpmaster before it can fire the 2nd torp by getting into R1. If the end game is 2 scouts vs Sabine, I think you can win it by staying in R2 with focus and evade. 1v1 the scout has no chance against Sabine.

This is true but if you have R4-D6 then it will take all 3 protorps to kill him. Your opponent just spent half his alpha strike and an entire turn's firing to remove a 26-point ship and now has the Ghost up close and personal where the big primary guns can get to work.
Not saying it will be easy, Triple Scouts is a tough match for anyone and with zero-agility, Ghost is a bigger target than most. But it is not a forgone conclusion either.

Biggs can easily die to two proton totps and a PWT. He's still an x and r4d6 doesn't help v crits
Afterwards there aren't many things suspectible to post torp jumpmasters, but 0 agi ghost is definetly one of them and a z95, focus + evade or otherwise, is another
