Silly Scyk what do you have there?

Been musing over some scum builds, and i keep coming back and looking at this M3-A.

I mean this poor guy what does he even do!?

But after a bit of pondering I think i found an interesting build that could fit into a list. The most important thing to remember is that this guy is not a powerhouse by any means, but makes quite an interesting support ship and with 3 agility dice he has a bit of survivability (thou with only 3 total hits before he pops...)

The cheapest cannon platform?
The ship has a decent dial and with VI he will hopefully be able to shoot before some enemy ships and before some of your own to really maximize the use of the Tractor Beam.

Is it worth it? I havent tested it out, but i sure plan on it soon. Has anyone else tried something similar?

I've not flown it yet, but I think it would do well.

I don't hate scyks with ion cannons. It's a pretty cheap ion token.

I use a TPV with the tractor beam and attanni mind link, keeps it cheap and gives the little ship some actually action economy, while the rest of the link is alive, getting focus and evade each turn helps keep it alive and the tractor beam is there for shinnanagans.

He generally survives for a fair while either feeding the link or pushing the opponents ships around even just to screw with their movement next round.

For 2 more points you can have a ps8 with a support ability. For the same cost you can just get the ps6 with the amazing ability. Unless you're running multiples, my opinion is the named two are better.

To compare, why run a black squad tie with vi when you could just run dark curse for 1 more point.
