Well firstly,.. is that list correct?

Academy Pilot - 12
Total = 103
Seems like some math is off here.
Also I am not sure putting it all on Redline will be a viable method to counter Imperial Aces. Every-time I have run him, his bane has been Aces (of any kind) gunning him down allowing him to only ever get one (or two max) shots off.
I am not an expert squad builder by any means, but this just seems like it'd be picked apart by some elite pilots in short order. My bud ran Redline and two Defenders in his last list in our tourney and finished last.

First off, the points are three under, so now I stuck Proximity Mines to it. Second off, It hunts Aces and is Imperials, not hunts Imp Aces specifically.
Nooouupe. Your using Cutlass Squadron Pilot instead of Redline (sorry). If that's your intention then yes your points are correct, but you used his name above in your post.
And your title was just a bit confusing, so I apologize, some people ask for specific lists to kill specific things and that's what I brought away from the title. Also the list that nailed the coffin of my bruv in the last tourney was scum aces which imo are the worst there are. Just saying. Could have been luck (poor rolls bad flying, in fact that probably had something to do with it lol) but I hope you are able to do better. I love redline, I had him in a modified Palp ace list as well (poor man's vader). It didn't go well.

I see it now, fixed my cards appropriately.
Not a bad list, but it can run into trouble against some popular lists out there.
I would modify it by putting hull upgrade on Rexler, since he's your most important ship and you want to keep him alive as long as possible:
Rexler w/ predator, HLC & hull = 50 (TIE mk 2 is really not that necessary on defenders, contrary to some beliefs)
Redline w/ FCS, extra munitions, clusters & plasma torps = 38
academy pilot = 12
100
