The blatant music rip off in Oblivion was hilarious.

I loved the first Mass Effect. ME2 and 3, while much more streamlined, lacked the same magic.

I think that just has to do with Bioware losing its touch. It went from "check out this space RPG shooter with a sweet 80's vibe" to "GET DRAGON AGE, THEN GET MASS EFFECT 2! SHARE ARMOR! WE LIKE $$$!"
