Some of you might have noticed that there's been a sustained attack by spammers today.

Weird thing is, whatever I do I can't seem to stop getting email notifications even though I've switched all notifications off

any ideas?

There was a huge spam attack on the forum last Friday and one of the posters suffered similar problems,

As far as we could tell, it was a case of lag on the email notifications that were being dispatched - switching notifications off at that point didn't help as they were already queued to go.
