No Elven advanced careers?

I've only got 5 advanced careers in my core set and none of those are legal for either Elven character?

Are Elves limited to basic classes for the time being?

Which are both basic careers as well.....

Not a lot of love for those of the pointy ears...

A lot among us houseruled these careers as Advanced Careers.

Me too.

I was flabergasters when I saw they were basic.
They been playing too much Warhamer online methinks.
(Watch for Engineers with pet turretts next...)

yep... don't forget WFRP3 drained a lot of new "pen&paper" RPGers among online gamers... I guess it's ok to do so. GM may rule a high fantasy level similar to the online game where marauders are everywhere and so on...
