Unsurprising, tbh. Rebels had 1 contender in top 8, which was shredded immediately. 2 were U-boats, 4 were Palp Aces, and one was Imp Aces. I mean i'm glad that Palp Aces lost, and to a list with ordnance and Boba no less. Still, i can't help but feel disappointed that Rebels had such a weak showing in general.

Yeah, Palp was great on *debut*, but....ooof, so much disrespect, lately. And SO MUCH effort to haul him, I mean with only 2 ships that can do it, and one of them *completely* ineffective in any combat role...(and the other A~S~S~ugly...)

The TIE Shuttle can carry him, but it's gonna be tough to keep crits off of him.

yeah the jumpmasters are kind of too powerful. particularly with a 3 ps pilots getting an EPT!!! compare them in cost to a Y wing... its crazy. waaay better dial too...

I don't think they are too powerful. I think they are really powerful against the current meta, but that's OK. Maybe we can shift away from 3 ship lists? Lists with just a few ships are susceptible to the Alpha Strike.
I like my 4 ship lists.

I like everything about the JM5K, except the PS 3 guy getting an EPT... That is the stupidest thing so far. Except maybe the use of the word stupidest. Was a dumb move by FFG.
I want to see Scum take a Worlds win home. Glad FFG gave them a highly efficient torpedo list to compete in the tournament scene.
What's really impressive is the sheer number of builds that u boats have just erased from the meta. Rebel control is gone, brobots are gone, quad tlts are gone, bbbbz is gone, rebel ace lists are gone. Any sort of anchor with generics support list also failed to materialize. Crazy how one list can shrink the meta so much
U-boats didn't kill BBBBZ, though. In fact, I'm almost wondering if they would be really good against them. Use the Z to block the blocker. It takes a lot of shots to kill one B. Those B's can fire back pretty hard.
