Working on Vets list....need help

So I love all of the cards coming out in the Imp Vets expansion and I really want to try a couple bombers.

Right now I have:

Gamma- EM, Homing, LRS x2

Whisper - VI, Kallus, ACD, FCS

That leaves me with 6 points to make a 1 point init. bid for Whisper. I'm struggling with an EPT.

I'm thinking either Crackshot to maximize damage, or adrenaline rush to fly by and white K turn to get off both sets of Homing. Also adding seismically would put me at 99 with a 1 point EPT.

What do you guys think??

I do love me some bombs.

I often do a bigger initiative bid when running Whisper. I think Crackshot is where the money is though. Those homing missiles are going to hurt! Predator would be okay, but it makes those bombers a more juicy target, and I don't think they'll typically live long enough to get the 3point investment back.

Definitely Crack Shot. LRS sets up the missiles, then you Focus, then Crack Shot either puts you over the top for one huge damage spike or it lets you save the missiles and finish something off with a Primary shot.

I like Seismics. I also like Ion Bombs. You might also think about a single Conor Net.

I would change Kallus for gunner and go with crackshot on the bombers. That gives you a 2 pt bid.

Love the Imperial veterans. If you are looking for something else entirely, this list is so much fun:

* Vessary; Tie-D, adaptaility, tractor beam, twin ion engines mk II

* 3 x Scimtar, Extra munitons, Proximity mines.

It's in fact much stronger than it might seem. Been playing it for a while, some 10 games or so, and have yet to loose. It's very easy to pull someone into a position where the bombers can drop mines next turn. The bombers and vess ability also have a nice synergy. And the primary weapons on the bombers are not to be discounted after your opponent just lost an agiliy and got tractored into range 1.

What I thik will be a veterans staple is Vessery with x7 and juke. 3 actions (evade, target lock and BR/focus) plus the juke effect for 35-36 pts (mk-II).

I think that that is the beauty of agent Kalus; Just choose whichever ship is competing with you for Initiative and Kalus will float you past their attacks.

Wondering about how Tomax Bren with lightning reflexes is nearly as manouverble as an Interceptor. Maybe convert him into a shuttle and throw a recon spec on there with a stealth device. Superior flying paired with general unpredictability may prove enough to give Tomax Bren a win.
