How would it work if Manaroo had a blue target lock and wanted to pass that to the target but the target already had a blue target lock?

Any time a ship winds up with more target locks than it can maintain (1 in most cases), it has to discard target locks until it has only the number it can maintain. If you Manaroo a blue target lock token to a ship that already has a blue target lock token, you discard one of them. Your choice.

I thought that attani mindlink only gives you a token if you don't already have one much like stress you don't double stress just have to take one if you don't already have one.

That said Manaroo can pass her token to anyone on the board meaning you can stop target locks alpha strike from attacking her each combat round especially if you pass it to someone out of range/arc.

The instant Manaroo uses her ability, she no longer has a focus token, so if she has mindlink, when someone else (Kavil in the OP) with mindlink receives one (even from her ability), Manaroo gets one.

Leeachos can do this in reverse, by equipping mindlink and stealing the last focus token from another ship with mindlink (granting that ship a new one when Leeachos receives the original).

For some funky synergy, you could combo them both with Guri, even if none of them get a focus action you can get double focus on Guri and Leeachos with one left on Manaroo

1. Start of Combat, Guri gets a focus token for being range 1 of an enemy, Mindlink gives a token to Manaroo and Leeachos.
2. Leeachos steals Guri's token, now has two, Mindlink gives Guri a new one.
3. Manaroo gives Guri a focus token, Guri now has two as well, Mindlink gives Manaroo a new one.

also note that if Manaroo's partner moves first (eg. a Contract Scout) then they can end up with three focus:

1. partner focus for 1 and Manaroo gets 1 through the link
2. Manny focuses herself for one more (2 for Manny, 1 for partner)
3. start of combat you pass Manny's 2 focus away and instantly recieve 1 back

Final score: Manaroo with 1 focus, partner with 3 focus! That's gotta be as good as 'stims most of the time, but without the stress

hold on: if you have RecSpec on both you could have 5 on the partner! but don't forget that with K4 on Manny you could make it 3 or 4 focus with a TL

When Manaroo uses her ability she passes *all* her tokens. She doesn't get to keep any at all, so if you're using her ability, the most she can possibly end up with is 1 focus from Mindlink unless I've missed something.

K4 is great on her, but only for loading up the other guy with more stuff.

Now if only Scum had a decent high-PS repositioning ace for her to load who couldn't already pick up a K4 droid...
