True, but I got the feeling the GM's main issue was player buyin to the system, not so much an issue on his end. But yes, the concept works both ways. But if he's anything like me, he got the system just fine, it was getting his players on board that was the biggest hurdle.

My point was that I think you can get even more player buy-in through finding more ways for them to be rolling the dice or deciding how to spend threat/despair. The more places where you get them making material decisions or material dice rolls, the more likely they are to be fully invested in the outcome.

That's all I was trying to say.
