I remember a picture of the Ghosts cockpit where you could see new kill markings on it. I think that was around the release of season 2s early episodes/maybe even the trailer. Couldn't find it, though. If someone knows the picture and where to find it I'd love to see it, I would like to do some detailing on my Ghost.
Ghost kill markings
It's Season 2 episode 4 "Brothers of the Broken Horn" @ 0:01:58. Can't get a pic of it right now though cause iTunes.
Thats excellent, thank you!
I thought this was a post about painting marks on your ships after you kill a Ghost. My doomshuttle really did a number on the last one I played against, even blocked the phantom from deploying early.
Here's the shot I was thinking of. It shows the whole panel.

HOLY SHEET!! That would be ultra small to paint!
Challenge accepted.
Decals...
A suitable printer and clear decal sheet are your friend...
Vader's Tie Advanced must be covered in Phoenix Squad kill markings. Probably even painting them underneath where you can't see them anymore, like inside the cockpit.

That's what initiated the change to a bigger design from the TAP to the final TIE Advanced. He needed more room for kill markings.

Short, easy way. To the dark side it leads.
Daaaaayum... that's one cold-blooded serial killer.

Try using a fine-tip permanent marker.

Thats the reason Wedge's ground crew began to paint markings for whole squadrons ^^
Edit: And at least one marking for an entire fighter wing (144 fighters) he had downed.
Edited by RougeLeaderBetter yet, start marking your kills with your Ghost on the hull of the Ghost or any suitably large ship.

In the X wing books, they started color coding Wedge's kill marks. I want to say black = a single ship, red = a full squadron (12), and green = a squadron of squadrons (144). Of course, none of that matters next to the two black circles representing the two death stars Wedge at least assisted in destroying.

So did Vader's crew. He still needed a bigger ship.
Wedge got 144 fighters at once? WTF?!

Erich 'Bubi' Hartman had enough confirmed victories to get two of those fighter wing markings. So it actually is even realistic for those rogue squadron, 501st and 181st aces to achieve those numbers.
Somehow I understood Wedge got 144 fighters in one engagementswhile what I believe was meant is a total number. My bad

You know that bit where Poe shoots down about 10-12 TIE/FOs while aiming precision shots at the Stormtroopers on the ground, rescuing Finn without even messing up the jacket? Remember how he made it look so easy?
Wedge is even better than that guy.
You know, it is easy with an Avenger, the impressive part is that Wedge can do it in an X-Wing. ![]()

So that is how many times the Ghost has been shot down by TIEs ![]()

Assault missiles in three-space are no joke.
