Biggs and Ghost

So I'm looking at how to keep zero agility ghost alive long enough to make use of its 4 attack primary.

My basic theory is Kanan using focus to reduce attack of opponent who must target Biggs. I keep him behind using tactical jammer to give extra defence dice.

Ghost needs recon specialist to allow multiple focus and Jan Ors to allow Biggs to take an evade. Give him Regen R2-D2 and IA for added durability.

Reinforced deflectors for when Biggs does bite it, might stretch him to an extra round that could be vital.

Cheap phantom, turret and titles to give Ghost extra attack power.

I realise it's unlikely to be competitive but I like the idea of building a long life tank. The problem I see is that I'm still pouring a lot of points into a single attacking ship (Biggs might get the odd shot too though)

Anyone run a similar set up?

The combo of a Ghost and Biggs has popped up in multiple casual play matches in my area and I've also seen two YouTube videos showing matches with this combo.

It works as intended, but understand that Biggs WILL die and that means your lonely Ghost needs to focus on dealing as much damage as possible ... not defense. About 99 percent of opponents will move directly for Biggs and focus everything they have on taking him out ASAP. That means Biggs will probably only survive for 1-2 turns of combat and then everything else rests on the shoulders of the Ghost.

The best Biggs/Ghost (with docked Phantom) list I've seen had solid alpha strikes with proton torpedoes and guidance chips from the Ghost (with extra munitions) in the first two turns of combat. Those shots from the Proton torpedoes shaved enough points off the enemy that even though Biggs died in the second turn of combat the Ghost with docked Phantom was able to finish off the enemy ships thanks to secondary attacks from autoblaster turret and accuracy corrector that couldn't be stopped by enemy evades.

The lists that I've seen with Biggs and the Ghost that didn't have a solid alpha strike backed up by decent offense from the Ghost all lost to lists with higher PS ships.

I think it is important to avoid over-spending on Biggs. He will be hit by almost everything so R2-D2 is unlikely to get a chance to regenerate more than one shield. Keep him lean and spend the points on making sure the rest of the list can hit hard enough to ensure Biggs' heroic sacrifice is not in vain. ;)
