I'm really bored by the "Sky is falling" rebels out there. I honestly think your view on the situation is wrong, and that you seem to have been defeated before you even played.

I have been having amazing results with a Dash/Lothal build on Vassal against most lists. They seem like they'd struggle against Aces and U-boats but the secret is, read your opponent. A Palp aces without Palp is a bunch of dinky aces. Dash is more then capable of taking out Palp without taking a shot while Lothal soaks up the damage and maybe even gets an autoblaster or two in. By the time Palp is dead, you have a full health Dash dancing around the board against whatever aces are left. If you use your actions wisely, you can come out on top.

As for a stress build? It's honestly a big "no" to any action based ship. And I like saying no. I honestly can't see how you would fail to take down an actionless ace with a 4 dice primary or 2 direct damage autoblaster, because they are not running far with two stress tokens.
