In a bout of insomnia, I threw together a deck idea I'd been batting around for a while, where hero Treebeard gets a Fall of Gil-galad, then sacrifices himself just so that everyone else can make money...

Once Fall is online (retrieved via a Rivendell Minstrel), the combo is:
- During the refresh phase, use Loragorn to reset threat to 34.
- Have Treebeard commit suicide, dropping threat to 21.
- Trigger Galadriel during either the same or following round to drop to 20 and thus secrecy.
- Play ALL THE RESOURCEFULS.
- Profit.
I took it against Amon-din, and even with such an easy quest, I mistrusted the deck design enough to pair it with a Gandalf power deck. But I pulled off the combo by round 3.
For funsies, later that game I Fortune or Fate'd Treebeard back up, attached a Fall of Gil-Galad from the other deck, and sacrificed him again .
Then I played ally Treebeard.
