I see a Furball tournament, and I show up with Regen, or Rebel Captive.

I WILL survive to the end-game at full health, tyvm.

However, there is one more power upgrade that I hadn't considered above: Ion Cannon (with or without the Turret).

Nothing quite like saying "Hey guys, here's a tasty snack in the middle of the table for you!"

I think the format is better with two ships (30pts max per ship), would keep Lone Wolf use down a bit and fits the type of training at Miramar. I would almost be more worried about Defenders with title than I would be of interceptors, but I do feel that this format would be more fun and bring a lot more diversity to the table.

In a 1 v 1 format, I would run the following.

Gand Findsman

Veteran Instincts

Zuckuss crew

Fire Control System

Mist Hunter

Tractor Beam.

At PS7 you will be moving last, unless someone has put VI on a Royal Guard, which alows you to attempt to arc dodge with barrel roll. As it's 1 v 1, your FCS will mean you have a free TL every attack after the first, leaving you to evade if you can't arc dodge. Finally, Zuckuss will help you to deal with those 4 evade dice Imperials, and as you are getting a free TL, you can hopefully afford to be stressed for a turn.

But Cool Hand is used when you receive the stress in the first place, which would be the same turn as the Glitterstim. Would give you an extra evade though.

And even though the Khiraxz isn't my favorite fighter I think it suits this format very well. Love that there are so many options at 30pts. Gonna be playing this a bit this week for fun (maybe as 2 30pt ships though).

30 points. PS 8 beats out all the homeboys who rely on Push the Limit, so I might still be able to arc dodge AND while you're stressed it'll be easy for me to K-turn and tail you until the end. How on earth I'll crack your Focus+Evade shell, I have no idea, but I'll figure something out.

One small alteration I'd propose: if people want to run multiple ships of the same kind, I'd let them. A pair of Z-95s or TIEs could make for a lovely little list, and a way to see 'em on the table. You can even run a pair of TIE FO or Y-wings with this :)

I wish atanni mindlink didnt say friendly...i also wish the starviper was decent for this, but low ps, no ept, and a uniqe title is bad.

I would take a delta with x7 title and mk 2 engines. If kills matter in a furball format, being lower PS might help
