Lighted ships on eBay.

I'm offering lighted imperial star destroyers on eBay.

Soon I'll have Mc80's, AFII's, victories, and gladiators.

I'm not great with the pictures, but lyraeus and a few others in the NW/Portland area have seen them.

Uh..... Rebel symbol on isd? Nope. Rage quit the game. It's all Lyraeus' fault. Lol

Seriously. Looks good. Good price too.

I'd love to see a raider lighted too.

The Rebel symbols on her Imperial ships are indeed an affront against everything that is right and proper, but her lighted ships really are badass. (I also know Admiral Theia in person.)

I can recommend.

It looks great, surprisingly bright.

Yeah. The 7 led ship can be seen on a wall from six feet away in broad daylight!

I've got some ideas for how to make the raider work, but I want to do second, better, set ups for the victory and the 80. The first one didn't quite turn out how I'd prefer.

I can vouch for Theia. The ships look good with the lighting.

Well, there goes another perfectly good budget.

Lol.

Also, if anyone wants to offer me $45 less than the prices I listed, pay return shipping, and send me the models you already have, I'll be happy to light them as well.

Lol.

Omg. I read the post before I saw authors name... I was about to be pissed and tear into you. Lol.

Thought you were a random person trying to snipe business.

Anyway... Was curious if there would be any way to light squadrons. Maybe a light in base and fiber optic line running to guns and engine...?? Idk thought just hit me.

Possible, yes.

It would involve a lot of creative drilling, or cutting without losing bits and pieces, in order to enable on the fighter side... And unles syou were crazy with your connections work, you would probably be stuck with the base eternally being that one set (no more dissasembly to flip squadron token to Elite)...

So much work, that I don't know if it would be too Practical...

But it is certainly Possible...

I've lit up BattleMechs before.

But it is certainly possible...

I've lit really small projects through a cheat:

Use short wavelength black light and phosphorescent or glow in the dark pigment with the light source on the base. If you splurge for an invisible wavelength, you'll only see the emission from the pigments.

Yeah DUR, I could see putting one (or two) in the base and painting the engines and a few running lights/weapons.

How much for the butter next to the washing machine & humidifier laying directly on the cabinet with the lid over it. Might have discovered a new antibiotic worth millions.

In all seriousness, I think if you lit the front window drill tiny holes so more than the engines where lit up you could maybe charge more and sell more. If you are in there already, you might as well run some more fibers and drill so holes like another member has done. That feels much more complete and worth doing IMHO.

It is a really great engines regardless.

These were my first, and I'm still a bit of an amateur (a couple of circuits classes under my belt). As I get better and more confident I'll start adding some things. I put in a light under the bridge of one of the imps that shines down on a rebel symbol I painted on the top of the primary hull.

Hey everyone! IF you were interested but didn't want to spend for another model, I've amended the listing to say you can ship me your model and I'll send it back, for a commensurately lower price.

And now I've added all the bigger models.

Does anyone have the "Disney Exclusive ISD" that has metal parts? Which are metal?
