I haven't seen any korean spam, but I'd imagine if there is such a thing, simply stop coming to the site?

Maybe change your settings to English. That might help.

Or, you know. Stop checking the forum every 10 minutes?

I am not checking the forum, they are com g through automatically, even though I have changed the setting on my account to not recieve updates, but tanks for the good advice!

Maybe blame your email. All thousand of those posts happened over a 10 hour span, or so... maybe they slammed your email so hard they are only trickling through.

I think the guy just try to perform some kind of April's fool but fail miserably at it.

Yeah, all the spam happened in the course of one night, a day or two ago, now. If you're still getting some sort of crazy auto-update stuff, despite your forum settings being programmed not to be sending you alerts, that's an issue with your email, not the forum; even deleting your account might not take care of it, at this point.

If absolutely nothing else, try to set your email anti-spam stuff to flag the forums as junk mail, maybe?

Or the bot has farmed email addresses during the spam attack and you are now getting them directly from them. Check the date and time on the last email. Is it after the spam attack was stopped on the forum?

Emails are after the time of the last post, however, the replies to the HALP post that went up still haven't updated yet either - I keep getting the odd notification

Also I'm not getting new post notifications anymore (or yet)
